This is the first conference in the country with the theme of blockchain applications held in the field of public resource transactions.
The reporter learned from the meeting that recently, the first domestic public resource trading field to use blockchain technology for bidding - the Guangzhou Fifth Resource Thermal Power Plant facade change design service project was launched at the Guangzhou Public Resource Trading Center. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangzhou Trading Center") successfully completed the electronic bid evaluation, marking a new breakthrough in the application of blockchain technology in the Guangzhou Public Resources Trading Platform, solving the pain points and difficulties that have long plagued the public. Problems such as the inability to share information in the resource trading industry, the inability to use digital certificates across regions, and the difficulty in verifying contract performance fraud are expected to be resolved.

So far, Guangzhou has completed 34 bidding projects using blockchain technology.
It is reported that on August 15 last year, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Zhuhai trading centers cooperated with Biaoxin Zhichain (Hangzhou) Technology Development Co., Ltd. to create the country’s first public resource trading blockchain platform.
At this conference, in order to create more replicable and promoteable experiences, the platform membership units have been expanded to 18, covering Beijing, Hunan, Guizhou, Shenyang, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Jinan, Wuhan, Xi'an, Xiamen, Qingdao, including Changsha, There are 16 trading centers in Guangzhou, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan and other provinces and cities, and 2 units including Gansu Chengxing Information Technology Co., Ltd. and Biaoxin Intelligent Chain (Hangzhou) Technology Development Co., Ltd.
The person in charge of the Guangzhou Trading Center introduced that the scale of public resource transactions in Guangzhou is huge, exceeding 800 billion yuan in 2019, and is expected to exceed 1 trillion yuan this year, of which more than 50% are engineering construction projects outside Guangzhou; there are more than 60,000 platform users, including most Some are foreign-invested enterprises.
How to do a good job in bidding for non-Guangzhou-based projects, serve overseas enterprises well, and achieve cross-platform, cross-region, and cross-industry information sharing are the focus and difficulty of Guangzhou’s public resource transactions. Blockchain technology has the characteristics of data traceability, information transparency, resistance to tampering, and easy sharing, and is highly consistent with the needs of the public resource trading field. Relying on blockchain technology and making good use of the blockchain platform, public resource transactions can be made more transparent and efficient.
The person in charge of the Guangzhou Trading Center said that blockchain applications in the field of public resource trading in Guangzhou are currently mainly being tried in the bidding and bidding of engineering construction projects. In the next step, Guangzhou will gradually promote and apply it in the fields of public resource transactions such as government procurement, pharmaceutical group procurement, land use rights and mining rights transfer, and urban renewal investment promotion.
