At 12:39 on October 30, Mr. Liang from Liuzhou, Guangxi received the 10 millionth domestic blockchain electronic invoice after purchasing a Huawei nova 5 mobile phone at Fenqile Mall, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Lexin. This is the first invoice issued by Fenqile Mall in June this year as the first installment e-commerce platform in the country to access the blockchain electronic invoice system. This is also a milestone in the national blockchain electronic invoice pilot.

The relevant person in charge of Fenqile Mall said that after the blockchain electronic invoice was launched, it has experienced a lot of convenience. For example, blockchain electronic invoices can be used on demand, eliminating the need to regularly go to the tax bureau to collect invoices, greatly reducing the workload of corporate tax personnel. Reduce the burden and improve work efficiency; free tickets can also allow companies to reduce additional financial costs; in addition, when users shop on the platform, they can apply for invoices by themselves without manual intervention, reducing the company's manpower investment.

As a financial technology company, Lexin established a blockchain laboratory as early as 2017 and applied for a number of blockchain technology patents. Currently, Lexin is exploring the wide application of blockchain-based shared "hyperledger" in the reconciliation process between various internal business subsystems and the transaction settlement process with cooperative financial institutions. In October 2018, at the "2018 Trusted Blockchain Summit" hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, a scientific research institution directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) (Information Technology and Telecommunications Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology), Le Xin was one of the first companies to join the "Trusted Blockchain Promotion Plan" and was awarded the "Trusted Blockchain Promotion Plan Council Member" certificate.

It is understood that the blockchain electronic invoice is a key project implemented by the Shenzhen Municipal Taxation Bureau under the direct guidance of the State Administration of Taxation, using Tencent’s underlying blockchain technology. Since Shenzhen issued the country's first blockchain electronic invoice in August last year, blockchain electronic invoices have been implemented in catering, supermarket retail, finance, rail transit, property, e-commerce and other scenarios. Currently, many companies have accessed it. 7,600 companies have issued more than 10 million invoices, and the amount of invoices issued exceeds 7 billion yuan.
